Emerald Radio is a light-hearted news and talk driven Internet-only radio station with an Irish focus, but with a target market primarily outside of Ireland.

We are now off the air, but for one week in March 2010, our station did its best to turn the world green! Emerald Radio featured Irish news, documentaries, comedy, dramas and a little bit of music from the “Emerald” isle.

Emerald broadcasted live online from our studios in Ballyfermot College of Further Education from March 8th to 12th 2010. A large number of programmes from the station can now be heard as podcasts.

Emerald Radio is a tradition spanning back many years in Ballyfermot College of Further Education and is run by the 2nd year Higher National Diploma in Media (Radio) students in the college. With a target market primarily in the United States and Canada, our focus is on all things Irish.
